In Havelock, NC, 30 historic tornadoes with a strength of 2 or higher were recorded. The tornado tracks ranged from half a mile to a mile wide and stretched for nearly 30 miles. Between 1950 and 2010, the region recorded extreme weather events such as tornadoes and other extreme weather events such as hurricanes, snowstorms, floods, droughts and hurricanes.
The tornado touched down near Belgrade in Onslow County and moved north along Route 41, which ended at the intersection of Routes 58 and 41. The probability of earthquakes and damage in Ha Velock is much lower than the national average and about twice as high as in many other areas of North America. But the risk of tornadoes and damage to havelocks is the same as in North Charlotte and about half as low as in other states.
